Job Description:

We're searching for a Senior Director, Enterprise IT to join Aurora's IT team. The Enterprise Information Team is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and services to ensure seamless operation, security, and alignment with business goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and Lead IT Strategy: Shape the long-term IT vision to align with business objectives and the company's growth.
  • Oversee Global IT Operations: Manage the performance, availability, and security of global IT systems, in the cloud.
  • Manage Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable IT infrastructure to support the company's global workforce and operations.
  • Drive Enterprise Applications: Lead the implementation and management of enterprise-wide software solutions, including ERP, CRM, collaboration tools, and software licenses, ensuring optimal efficiency, compliance, and value across the organization.
  • Ensure Seamless Integration: Oversee the smooth integration of new technologies and systems, ensuring they work harmoniously with existing infrastructure and processes.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Oversee key vendor partnerships, negotiating contracts, and driving procurement strategies for hardware, software, and services.
  • Handle Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage the IT budget, prioritizing investments and resources for maximum efficiency and impact.
  • Lead and Develop the IT Team: Mentor and guide a global team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Embrace Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IT and autonomy, integrating relevant technologies to enhance operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in IT leadership, with at least 5 years in senior-level roles managing enterprise IT operations.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale IT projects and digital transformation in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong expertise in cloud computing (AWS, Azure), cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise architecture.
  • Experience managing IT systems and infrastructure for a global organization.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a dynamic environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Prior experience in high-tech industries such as autonomous systems, AI, or robotics.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies relevant to autonomy and AI.
  • Experience managing IT in large-scale, multinational organizations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in technology-driven sectors.

The base salary range for this position is $271K-$365K per year. Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
