11th November, 2024Position Summary: The Senior Director, Financial Operations is the senior financial representative of the hospital. The role is the voice of finance on the local hospital Senior Leadership team. The role has a matrixed reporting structure with direct reporting to the Vice President, Community Hospital Financial Operations and dotted line to the President of the hospital. The role oversees and directly manages hospital financial team functions including, but not limited to: Hospital Controller along with financial accounting and cash management, Patient Access Services (Point of Care Admissions, Emergency Department, Outpatient Clinics), Financial Clearance (Referral Management, Pre-Registration, Prior Authorization, Scheduling), Materials Management (Supply Chain) with matrixed reporting to central office May also assist with other departmental oversight as required by local hospital requirements. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Accounting, Healthcare Management or similar is required. Master's Degree in Healthcare or Business Management or similar is highly preferred.
