It s a great time to be a part of ZOLL!Job SummaryThe Senior Director, Global Product Management (GPM) provides leadership and direction to the Global Product Management team, which has global responsibility for the product lifecycle of all Resuscitation products. Leading a team of 8, this role is responsible for the global management of; AEDs, monitor/defibrillators, ventilators, IPR products, Mobilize Rescue Systems, and all accessories and software solutions related to each of these products. The GPM team Actively participates in the product development process, develops customer requirements, and proposes and prioritizes new product concepts. This team actively seeks customer feedback and presents the Voice of the Customer as it relates to our current and future products; benchmarks competition; stays fluent with state of the art in clinical practice; crafts impactful business models and presents work to senior leadership.Essential Functions

  • Direct management of GPM team.

  • Manage budget and structure of team to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Collaborate with global internal and external customers to understand market requirements for each region.

  • Provide expertise and guidance in particular product areas and guides development of product strategies to meet company performance goals.

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate assigned programs to ensure accomplishment of financial/budgetary goals and optimum allocation of resources.

  • Coordinate program planning to ensure identification of appropriate manufacturing schedules, goals, design criteria, costs, and similar considerations.

  • Lead cross-functional groups to ensure all major market segments are represented in VOC as well as launch planning.

  • Provide continuing product surveillance and management of established product to obtain financial objectives.

  • Interface with Research and Development in order to ensure close alignment with product development.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to ensure that product development efforts are aligned with business objectives.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) plus 10+ years related experience. required and

  • MBA or MS is desirable. preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • History of managing multiple projects and multiple people.

  • A strong propensity to focus on internal and external customers.

  • A track record of customer-oriented, problem definition.

  • Demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking and planning.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Technical or product development background.

  • Clinical background.

  • Proficient with common word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, and database programs.

Travel Requirements

  • 35% travel required
