Position Summary:

The Senior Director, Global Talent Management serves as a leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing global people processes, assessment strategies, and talent solutions that integrate with our Human Capital Management platform, Workday. This role will look to enhance the overall Workday user experience across all of CBI by further embedding and automating our “Talent First Framework” to support our STZ 2030 People strategy. This role will lead a global team of Talent Management professionals/support staff and have financial responsibility of the team, along with strategic external partners and suppliers. This role will play a critical role towards ensuring CBI has the relevant people processes needed for the development and retention of our global workforce and top talent. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of talent management, organizational design, assessments, and leadership development best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Develop, refine, and implement a comprehensive “Talent First” digitally oriented, multi-year integration strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives, to further drive the automation of people processes and programs into our HCM platform, Workday. Collaborate with senior leaders, key stakeholders, Global Talent, HR Ops, DBA, and HR Business Partners to identify areas of opportunity across all existing talent processes/programs and create strategies to address them.
  • Skills Architecture: Design and deliver a global, universal skills framework that will be used across all of CBI to create a common understanding of the leadership, digital, and technical skills needed to enhance the overall acumen and capabilities of current and future leaders. This is a cross-enterprise partnership with various stakeholders. The universal skills framework needs to align with and complement our CBI Leadership Standards.
  • Talent Planning & ROI: Create greater operational rigor by revamping the global talent planning process in partnership with Finance and HRBPs. The revamped process must leverage workforce intelligence for better connectivity and understanding of CBI people investments across all talent management and talent development initiatives for a seamless end-to-end approach and user experience.
  • Succession Planning: Design and implement succession planning processes to identify high-potential employees and partner with CoE colleagues and HRBPs to provide meaningful insights on the creation of organizational capability and individual development plans that prepare successors for future leadership roles. Work closely with HR and senior leaders to ensure a robust pipeline of talent for key positions.
  • Performance Management: Collaborate with HR to develop and implement performance management processes that align individual goals with organizational objectives. Provide guidance and support to managers in conducting performance evaluations.
  • Talent Assessment and Readiness: Implement talent assessment tools and processes to identify high-potential employees and assess their readiness for future roles.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of talent management programs, and the overall user experience and adoption. Regularly report on progress and outcomes to senior leadership, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven recommendations. Responsible for coaching and developing a team of global talent management professionals.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, Master's degree highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of multi-discipline HR, talent management, talent acquisition, leadership development, DE & I, and/or related experience with 5+ years leading a mid-to-large size team.
  • Minimum of 5+ years demonstrated leadership capabilities and technical expertise in talent management, leading teams, managing multiple stakeholders, handling organizational complexity, and leading with savviness.
  • Boundaryless mindset, with the ability to build and execute a multi-year integrated global talent strategy across various stakeholders.
  • Expertise in implementing and successfully measuring the impact of enterprise-wide talent management programs. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure program effectiveness.
  • Must have significant people manager experience, including advanced leadership, management, and influencing skills with a proven track record of delivering business results at a senior level and delegating and directing a high-performing team of individuals with measurable KPIs.
  • Must possess gravitas and demonstrate the ability to exhibit comfort and confidence, take initiative, be proactive in identifying issues and recommending solutions, and build relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of talent management best practices, including performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous professional experience within the consumer-packaged goods, beverages, food, or alcohol is highly preferred.

    The salary range for this role is:

    $165,300.00 - $275,500.00

    This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
