Western Digital data-centric solutions are found under the G-Technology, HGST, SanDisk, Tegile, Upthere, and WD brands.Job DescriptionThe Senior Director, Global Supply Chain Transformation is responsible for the strategic leadership, business transformation, and enabling high performing teams for end-to-end supply chain including integrated business planning, demand planing, supply planning, inventory optimization, production scheduling and supply allocation. This is highly cross functional role providing strategic alignment across sales, business units, procurement, manufacturing and logistics fulfillment as well as managing all crucial aspects of the supply chain processes. This key member of the Leadership team will lead the development / implementation of business-focused supply chain initiatives throughout the organization as well as identify global supply chain solutions that create sustainable competitive advantages in cost, cash, quality & service levels. Business Transformation: Strong supply chain planning knowledge & expertise in implementing strategy and transformational Supply Chain projects including implementation of new end-to-end supply chain planning system.Customer focused: Partner with cross-functional teams to innovate and transform the business models and improved internal and external customer experiences Time to market: Identify, prioritize, and execute on strategic growth initiatives in Supply Chain, by working cross functionally across BU, sales, manufacturing, procurement and logistics fulfillment Initiative and ownership: Ability to act with limited oversight on day-to-day basis, balancing multiple priorities. Quickly build Hard disk domain knowledge, credibility and long-term trusting relationships quickly at all levels.Highly analytical: experience decomposing and solving real world business problems, ideally building/using advanced analytics and emerging technologies Natural problem-solver: Solve the real operational problems impacting operating margin, comfortable with data and ambiguity, and able to both delve into the details and engage meaningfully on the overall strategyEffective communications: Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendationsExecute across disciplines: analytics, technology, process and op model design – to create holistic solutions.Keeping the lights-on: Have your fingertip on the pulse of the business to ensure it is operating as successfully as possible, stepping in to help drive improvements as neededQualificationsThis individual will ideally have at least 10+ years of experience leading supply chain transformation, solving complex business problems, developing key metrics and executing successful projects in Oracle CLOUD ERP or similar environments.Having master's degree in industrial engineering, certification from APICS and PMP will be preferredStrong experience in implementing and managing advanced planning systems for end-to-end supply chain including demand supply planning, allocation, scenario planning, factory scheduling and inventory management Extensive experience in building base case, measuring ROI, defining future state, creating budget & resource plans for execution and managing program execution Strong people management experience having managed large diverse, distributed teams across different geo-locations and has demonstrated ability to grow and develop team membersStrong fiscal budgeting skills and experience with handling Opex budgets and program budgetsAbility to manage stakeholder relationships with executive leaders and peersAdditional InformationBecause Western Digital thrives on the power of diversity and is committed to an inclusive environment where every individual can thrive through a sense of belonging, respect, and contribution, we are committed to giving every qualified applicant and employee an equal opportunity.
