Job Description:
The Senior Director of Human Resources is a senior role responsible for the strategic management and oversight of the HR function across all FQHC sites. This leader will work closely with the executive team to align HR strategies with the organization's mission and goals, ensuring that HR operations support business objectives and promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Additionally, this role is pivotal in managing the execution of new initiatives and overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure optimal performance and alignment with organizational directives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's vision and goals, focusing on talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention.-Performance Management: Develop and manage a robust performance management system that aligns with the organization's strategic goals. Establish clear performance metrics for all roles and ensure their consistent application. Train managers in conducting effective performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback to promote accountability and continuous improvement.-Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent. Design and implement talent management and succession planning initiatives.-Policy Development: Lead the creation and enforcement of HR policies, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws. Continuously review and update policies to reflect -changes in the regulatory environment.-Employee Relations: Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on employee relations issues, fostering a positive and productive workplace environment. Manage complex employee relations issues and provide guidance on conflict resolution.-Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure that these programs are aligned with the organization's goals and market trends.-Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion within the organization by developing and implementing initiatives that support equal opportunity and a diverse workforce.-Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all HR practices comply with applicable laws and regulations. Lead efforts to mitigate risks related to employment practices.-HR Metrics and Reporting: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Report findings to the executive team and use data to drive decision-making.-Budget Management: Manage the HR budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support organizational priorities.Qualifications: This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate the complexities of managing HR across multiple locations while maintaining a focus on organizational goals and employee well-being. Education:• A Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree combined with extensive relevant experience may also be considered. Experience:• 7+ years of HR management experience, with significant experience in a senior leadership role.
