Compudopt is a national non-profit organization that aims to provide technology access and education to under-resourced youth and their communities. Compudopt is seeking an enthusiastic, community-minded collaborator who is passionate about bridging the digital divide and creating technology equity for youth and families. The Senior Director of Community Impact must have a proven track record of community engagement, volunteer development, growth, capacity building, developing and inspiring staff, and program execution. This full-time leadership position reports to the Vice President of Site Operations and is responsible for managing and directing all program and operational staff as well as localized community outreach and engagement in the San Antonio area. Day-to-day activities will involve team and people management, strategic thinking, problem solving, program execution, partnership engagement, reporting, quality assurance, and program evaluation. This role is based in San Antonio, TX.The Senior Director of Community Impact must act with integrity, be committed to achieving organizational goals, take responsibility for mission achievement, demonstrate accountability by starting with yes, and demonstrate the ability to inspire, grow and motivate others.Major Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Conduct outreach into target communities (including health fairs, community outreach events, etc.).
  • Develop new, and maintain current strategic, collaborative relationships with community-based organizations, school districts, donors, and foundations to drive engagement with an emphasis on connectivity and programs.
  • Responsible for media outreach to help drive success for program activities in new or existing areas within the San Antonio area.
  • Lead volunteer recruitment, engagement, and management.
  • Conduct research to assess potential new sites for Compudopt connectivity services.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for connectivity in the San Antonio area.
  • Identify key residences (MDUs, single family homes, duplexes) within the Compudopt network coverage area and conduct active outreach with the goal of connecting them to Compudopt services.
  • Responsible for achieving site goals including but not limited to programs, connectivity, volunteers, engagement, and outreach.
  • Responsible for raising a portion of the total operating budget for San Antonio operations.
  • Prepare and produce reports on prospective and existing site impact as well as site sustainability, including but not limited to metrics on connectivity, volunteerism, programs, and distributions.
  • Evaluate programs and services using a data driven approach, pivoting when necessary.
  • Create processes and procedures that add efficiency to processes specific to serving the San Antonio area.
  • In collaboration with the National Marketing Team, create and manage collateral development for all Dallas programs and services.
  • Support special events coordination in concert with national leadership.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new program and operations staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Required:
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in administration, marketing, data collection, or sales.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
  • Three years of nonprofit experience
Special Knowledge/Skills:
  • Possess strong public relations experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work weekends and evening hours as appropriate.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work weekends and evening hours as needed.

This position is subject to successfully passing a background check and reference check. Pay Range: $90,000 - $106,875 per year
