Your Impact

Our mission is to understand the needs and serve customers within the enterprise and healthcare market segments through tailoring and adapting of Axon's connected sensors, body cameras, and portfolio of cloud applications. As part of our contribution to protecting life, you will build and lead a high performance product and R&D team to develop safety technology for a wide range of customers from retail associates to nurses providing life saving care in stores, hospitals and other public settings.

The ideal candidate is a “full stack” people leader of a multi-functional product organization - technically proficient enough to work with world class engineers and adept at working across all business functions like sales, UX, marketing, business development, legal and customer success. You have a track record for building direct relationships with customers & users in a B2B setting and are able to nurture and grow the business over the long term.

What You'll Do

Location: Seattle, WA or Scottsdale, AZ or Boston, MA or Atlanta, GAReports to: Sr. Director of Product - Axon Frontier MarketsDirect Reports: Product Management, UX (3-6)

  • Build a world class organization: Hire and develop the best talent across all functions you own. Grow and develop people that consistently deliver high quality results, work well with others across the company and are deeply responsive to customers.
  • Customer Obsession: Form deep relationships with our large anchor customers, including top 100 Retailers and Hospitals. Understand their jobs as well as they do and organize your team to solve their problems while growing Axon's business.
  • Leadership & Vision: Provide crystal clear leadership and vision for the future of Axon's devices and applications within the Enterprise and Healthcare segments effectively across all business functions.
  • Critical Thinking & Writing: Write excellent, detailed organizational vision and business strategy artifacts that clarifies and aligns all stakeholders.
  • Influence & Trust: Build trust with senior leaders through role modeling Axon's leadership principles. Work with all levels of product, technical and business staff across software and hardware engineering earning their trust and problem solving alongside them.
  • Deliver Results: Grow adoption of Axon's products like Axon Body Camera and Fusus across the world and relentlessly improve the product exceeding customer expectations.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or other analytical field
  • 10+ years professional experience within world class software product organizations in a multi-disciplinary role, with at least 4 specifically in a product management leadership role.
  • 4+ years of experience working in B2B, and preferably with large enterprise customers
  • Ability to travel 30% of the year to embed deeply with the customer, build relationships and expand our adoption
  • You resonate with Axon's Values and our mission that technology can be applied to tackle the federal government's biggest challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, influencing and team building
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Benefits listed herein may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 204,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 306,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
