What You'll Do
Lead the development of business growth strategy using action-oriented data-driven decision-making processes.Identify relevant studies, lead telemetry collection and data analysis to support product requirements.Help facilitate strategic plans, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and activities.Architect, design, and oversee the building of relevant dashboards to support business reviews.Define, analyze, assess, and perform Total Available Market (TAM) and Serviceable Available Market (SAM) assessments for future business opportunities.Monitor progress and report on key success metrics to key stakeholders.Lead and conduct market research to identify service/product gaps and market opportunities.Use quantitative and qualitative data to understand customer usage habits and needs.Support projected outcomes with relevant market data.Operate independently and as part of a broader team; manage multiple tasks and projects.Lead cross-functional teams in product life cycle management.Who You'll Work With
The Product Management team drives the vision and roadmap for Teradata offerings in public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud). As a member of the Product Management Leadership Team, you will shape the strategy of Teradata's Cloud business.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
10 years of product management experience in a high-growth industry.5 to 10 years of product development experience.Knowledgeable about Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Technical or business undergraduate degree, MBA or equivalent experience preferred.What You'll Bring
Ability to use influencing skills to lead cross-functional teams.Ability to analyze scenarios and develop solutions from limited information.Understanding of financial systems, product profit and loss models, and pricing strategies.Good understanding of legal documents and entitlements.Awareness of industry and competitive trends.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Good communication skills with team members at all levels.Familiarity with Salesforce, ServiceNow, Aha!, and JIRA applications.Strong bias for action with a willingness to challenge the status quo.Ability to self-manage multiple projects.Comfortable analyzing data and presenting to executive stakeholders.Strong understanding of Teradata Vantage product portfolio.Experience formulating and driving business growth initiatives.Experience in delivering B2B enterprise platform-as-a-service offers.Experience leading organizational activities.Experience with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) methodologies.Experience supporting investor relations for earnings call preparations.Previous leadership experience in Engineering and Product Management.Understanding of market research methodologies.Desire to learn and grow in a technical product management career.Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI / Tableau.PowerPoint and Excel Power User.Why We Think You'll Love Teradata
