Job Description:
OverviewMHA in Ulster County, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time (37.5 hours/week) Senior Director of Program Operations to be responsible for building a strong, effective and efficient culture; the continued growth of current services, supervise Medicaid billable programs, as well as developing and implementing creative programs to meet the needs of those that we serve. The Senior Director is a key leader and contributor with responsibility to design, develop, manage, and continuously advance programmatic improvement and growth for MHA. The schedule for this position is Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm.The salary for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.Responsibilities Include
  • The ability to drive transformation while maintaining the vision and competencies of the agency in response to emerging trends.
  • Ensure the delivery of strong, research informed clinical services to clients and their families.
  • Provide strategic direction to programs and work collaboratively with compliance/quality assurance department.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to management staff in establishing department objectives related to staffing, policies, and procedures and performance management.
  • Provide weekly 1:1 formal supervision to all program directors.
  • Advise Executive Director from an agency perspective regarding clinical programmatic, strategic ideas and decisions.
  • Project manage the selection, implementation, and institutionalization of new wider agency clinical initiatives, specifically EBP's.
  • Drive growth and assist in program expansion by creating efficiencies, motivating through a system of metrics and creating a culture of accountability.
  • Intervene to help address concerns and fix issues within troubled program(s).
  • Work collaboratively with leadership in the development and govern the annual budget for the program areas and implement plans to achieve budgetary goals.
  • Serve as a liaison and representative to community organizations and promote the image of MHA to the local, regional, and national community.
  • Stay up to date on requirements related to program contracts, with an understanding of compliance, HIPPA, and quality assurance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree or higher in social work, psychology, or a related field with LCSW or LMSW required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years direct clinical experience working with individuals who have been diagnosed with a mental health disorder and/or substance use.
  • Minimum three (3) years supervisory or management experience.
  • Skills in policy development and implementation and leading projects with teams.
  • Experience working at highest levels of the organization with Board of Directors, Compliance Committee, Executive Team, Legal Counsel and Program Directors and Supervisors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Ability to work independently and also within a team. Success in developing employee trust; protect and preserve confidential information along with high attention to detail.
  • A clean, valid NYS driver's license that will meet and maintain a satisfactory driving record consistent with agency and insurance standards.
