With an open-door policy and a commitment to high standards, the company is growing rapidly and seeks team members who aspire to grow alongside it.About the role:As a Senior Director, you will be an integral leader of our US-based Growth Credit team based in our offices in lower Manhattan. You will manage commercial opportunities from inception through to final execution as part of a global team. In this client-facing role, you will originate new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery. Please note, the position is based out of our New York office, 4-5 days a week.Responsibilities:
- Sourcing prospective clients (companies) and generating deal flow
- Performing initial vetting (inc. calls/meetings with C-suite) of prospective clients
- Liaising between prospective clients and the investment team to ensure smooth and effective due diligence and execution
- Upkeeping full notation of the business cycle progress on CRM
- Handling negotiations with prospective clients, together with the investment management team
Qualifications:
- 10-15 years experience at a top-tier financial institution: venture capital, private equity, commercial bank, debt/credit provider
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a client-facing role: sales, origination, relationship management
- Demonstrable ability to originate and close transactions
- Drive, ambition, and an ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- At least two years of previous experience as a financial analyst
- Experience in and understanding of the growth-stage tech landscape
- Experience in and understanding of deal flow activity in credit/debt funds - an advantage
Compensation: $200,000 - $240,000The base salary is calculated based on experience and skills. Additionally, the compensation package will also include 401K, a significant commission per deal closed, and stock options in the company. Other benefits include fully paid health insurance (including dental and vision).
