Through our state-of-the-art technology-enabled services, community wellness programs, and advocacy and education work, we are building a society in which emotional wellness can be a reality for everyone.Position Overview:Vibrant Emotional Health is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Product to lead a team of product managers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and executing product strategies and roadmaps across consumer and B2B products, with a particular focus on data-heavy products (e.g. with data visualization elements), and has deep experience with product analytics. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills. The Senior Director of Product will be responsible for driving product innovation with leadership, managing product managers, and collaborating with a complex set of internal and external cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions for crisis centers and help-seekers that enhance emotional health and well-being. We are looking for someone passionate about working for a nonprofit dedicated to improving mental health nationwide.Duties/Responsibilities:Product Strategy and Roadmap Development:
  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
  • Prioritize product initiatives based on customer needs, business impact, and resource availability.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing product management team.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to product managers, helping them grow in their roles and achieve their career goals.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • Utilize (and help implement) data and analytics to inform product decisions and measure success.
  • Implement A/B testing and UX testing methodologies to optimize product features and user experiences.
  • Track key performance metrics and generate insights to drive product improvements and business outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with engineering, design, clinical, and other business teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between teams to ensure a cohesive approach to product development.
  • Present product strategies, roadmaps, and performance updates to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
Customer Focus:
  • Advocate for the needs and interests of customers, ensuring that products deliver exceptional value and user experiences.
  • Engage with customers and gather feedback to inform product improvements and future initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and partners to drive product adoption and success.
Project Management and Execution:
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch and beyond.
  • Ensure that product initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and troubleshoot issues that arise during the product development lifecycle.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, A/B testing, and UX testing methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with engineering, design, data, and other cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for improving emotional health.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing ICs and managers and building high-performing product teams.
  • Experience with both consumer and B2B products, with a focus on data and analytics.
  • Experience with data-heavy products and products with data visualizations.
  • Experience developing and executing user research and data-driven product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Track record of successful product launches and driving business growth through product innovation.
