This role oversees a $100M+ revenue budget responsibility and leads a team of sales professionals across various Retail and Ecommerce sales channels. Additionally, this role has the ultimate responsibility for all sales functions within a division and develops and implements sales strategies and policies that help the division meet its revenue and profit goals.WHAT YOU'LL DOB2C Sales LeadershipOversee a significant revenue budget responsibility, driving success and growth throughout the Retail and eCommerce teamLead the day-to-day activities of the Retail and Ecommerce sales team, developing opportunities nationwide; manage daily communications and ensure team successBuild a strong team through ongoing feedback, support, and guidance with the goal of facilitating both business and personal growth; set realistic goals and establish expectations; help team members improve sales and work qualityDevelop strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally, leading across the organization on key initiativesDevelop, review, monitor, and enforce policies, practices, and procedures that impact the organizationConsistently contribute strategic ideas and feedback to executive teamMeet and exceed customer expectations and demandsSales Strategy DevelopmentDevelop the overall sales strategy for the Retail and Ecommerce sales force, ensuring corporate financial goals are met or exceededSpearhead new business opportunities and utilize creativity to grow the business in a declining marketAnalyze business trends and understand the customer base, both regionally and nationally, to support effective strategy developmentStudy historical sales data, establish sales quotas, and plan future sales targetsStay current on industry news and changes as well as competitive models and featuresTrack actual performance against expectations and modify strategies, territories, or incentive plans in responseReporting, Budgeting, & ForecastingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for various internal groupsPrepare and deliver presentations for various regional and global meetingsLead team to manage product forecasting & supply chain activityLead team to manage custom SKU requests as opportunities arriveABOUT OUR IDEAL CANDIDATEEducation & ExperienceBachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, or a related field12+ years of experience managing a large national sales function across multiple markets, developing and executing on robust sales strategies, meeting and exceeding multi-million-dollar sales targets, and leading and managing a team3+ years of experience in the office supplies / consumer electronics industry – PreferredKnowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System (Salesforce preferred)Other Skills, Knowledge, & AbilitiesExpert knowledge in all aspects of sales management, including but not limited to: forecasting, goal setting, team planning, account mapping, resource management, time management, selling to the relevant executive, conducting executive briefingsStrong resilience and an aptitude for crafting creative strategies to achieve business growth in a declining marketStrong ability to strategically analyze data, think and execute on long-term action plansExcellent negotiation skillsStrong communication skills (written/verbal/interpersonal) and ability to build relationships internally and externallyStrong ability to deliver effective presentations at the executive levelAbility to lead, develop and mentor othersADDITIONAL DETAILS FOR THIS ROLEThis role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by managers.The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $190,000 - $224,000 per yearStarting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market dataThis position is eligible to participate in the relevant Brother variable pay incentive plan(s).
