Job Description:

You are Senior Director, Strategy at Crispin. You set the ambition and chart the course for the brands you lead. You hold senior-level client relationships and drive the business forward through proactive, high-level thinking. You partner with an integrated delivery team of strategist to ensure that no opportunity goes un-explored. You are the day-to-day partner of the ECDs on your accounts and are the visionary behind the long-term transformation of brands. Responsibilities

  • Serves as the voice and vision for the long-term evolution of our clients businesses and brands, while overseeing and contributing to the day-to-day.
  • Sets business and brand objectives to measure the work against; regularly checks in with clients to ensure effectiveness, provides analysis and recommendations for optimization.
  • Leads integrated brief development, constantly strives for more innovative and engaging ways to inspire the creatives and enhance the creative process.
  • Actively partners with account services and new business to drive integrated thinking and up-leveling our craft driving incremental growth.
  • Collaborates with integrated media and creative teams to create holistic brand strategy, positioning, messaging framework and comms strategy to fuel end to end activation campaigns.
  • Creates and optimizes campaign structure. Collaborates with creative teams to identify channel priorities and develop campaign roll out plans to ensure media and message are aligned and campaign activities capitalize on cultural calendars.
  • Partners with senior clients to interpret and create action from research/testing processes to optimize and protect the work.
  • Is the expert and voice of the consumer. Leverages 1st and 3rd party data to understand and articulate the consumer journey for a given project. Identifies and prioritizes media and messaging areas of opportunity to drive desired behaviors.
  • Is the master of effective strategies that work. Has a deep understanding of client objectives and KPIs and translates into actionable strategic ways in to inspire effective, on-brief creative ideas and executions.
  • Uses data and insight to inspire creativity. Contributes to the creative process by providing compelling, disruptive, and inspiring channel and consumer insights, past performance analysis, online listening and cultural trends.
  • Helps define and prove the value of Strategy and establish the growth of the team including input around team design, process development as well as managing and mentoring junior team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of agency experience.
  • Candidate must be located in Houston or NYC
  • Ability to work from the office 3 days a week.
  • Bachelors Degree or real-world experience/training in a relevant field.
  • Experienced in driving great work at an agency.
  • Proven experience building cross-platform communication strategies.
  • Broad range of experience on global, world-class brands at world-class agencies.
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior teams.
  • Is a radical collaborator. The kind of person thats more comfortable in a brainstorm than sitting at a desk.
  • Is a storyteller. Someone with badass written and verbal communication skills, with the writing chops to craft a powerful narrative and presentation skills to bring the house down in a big meeting.
  • Is comfortable leading 2-3 brands at any given time.

Compensation Range is: $175,000 - $245,000 annually +15% applied to applicants located in NYC. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
