We are seeking a rockstar business leader who can operate at the intersection of strategy, operations, and product operations who will stand up and develop our newly formed Strategy and Operations team. You and your team will have the potential to transform the way we think about the company's strategy, how we serve our clinicians and patients, how we drive growth and control costs, and ultimately how we provide the highest quality care for our patients. As Sr. Director, Strategy and Operations, you will work on our highest impact problems, own key strategic initiatives end to end, rethink and redesign solutions and key processes, and uplevel our strategic thinking grounded by data driven insights. You will own leverage our existing data infrastructure todevelop true business intelligence for our Operators and Clinical leaders in the marketplace. Those marketplace leaders will depend on you to upgrade our operational performance reporting, understand, size and then drive business opportunities, and spin up tools and ad hoc analyses to help everyone work at the top of their potential. In addition, our Clinical Quality leaders will seek your advice on policy setting and prioritization and our Product leaders will leverage the work of you and your team to prioritize their work and map out selection and timing of workflow automation priorities. You will:
- Create insights into our business and develop tangible recommendations and hypotheses how we can improve across growth, costs, quality, and patients and clinician experience
- Own and run with strategic initiatives and collaborate with partner teams to deliver impact
- Work with Operational and Clinical leaders (dyad leadership model) as well as Data and Strategic Finance to bridge the gap in data capabilities today, including finalizing the design of the next iteration of our clinician scorecards
- Collaborate with our Informatics, Engineering, and Data Product team to flow data into and out of our enterprise data warehouse
- Use this improved and more automated infrastructure to build out dashboards, individual clinician scorecards, and develop new metrics
- Serve as a strategic advisor as our market leaders use these metrics to make real-time decisions and monitor and measure the impact of those decisions
- Grow the data team 2-3 months after joining to add an analyst and/or a manager as an extension of the work you are doing

You have:
- 8-10 years of experience in creating business insights and intelligence, by developing solutions using advanced data visualization tools and languages, including R, SAS, SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or PowerBI but also your business acumen
- Expertise in transforming large datasets into insights, folding in business context even when it's unfamiliar to you at first
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills to convey the usefulness of insights, reports and analysis to internal and external stakeholders who are unfamiliar with data and analytics
- Understanding of industry trends in emerging technology and analytics
- Preferred experience in healthcare data, including clinical quality measures
- Ability to work at least 2 days a week in our NYC office

$190,000 - $215,000 a yearCompensation range for this position is an annual salary of $190,000 - $215,000, plus up to 15% bonus depending on experience; actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, location, as well as the individual's qualifications, experience, skills and certifications.
