Job Summary
Under administrative direction of the Deputy Superintendent, conceptualizes, develops, initiates, coordinates, and implements programs and activities designed to improve achievement for all students. Provides guidance for LCOE schools and adult programs with expertise in special education and alternative education, program evaluation and assessment, professional development, and compliance with state and federal mandates. Provides guidance and oversight for the California Community Schools Partnership Program and other grant programs as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: Any combination of formal education, training, and experience equivalent to a Master's degree and experience equivalent to five years of site administrative experience. Must possess a California Administrative Services Credential and an Education Specialist Credential. Comments and Other Information
The employee will be a member of the California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS); LCOE does not participate in the Social Security system. Benefits will include: Longevity Pay (Years: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35) Paid Sick Leave (80 hours per year/prorated based on service days/hours) STRS Retirement plan contributions Employer Paid Life Insurance (employee only) Air Ambulance Membership Annual Health & Welfare benefits cap $17,500: includes medical, prescription, dental, and vision for the employee and all eligible dependents based on the tier of coverage selected by the employee (the employee's out-of-pocket contribution amount will vary based on their selection); employees may purchase coverage through a 125-Cafeteria plan.
