In this role, you should be curious about a wide range of topics and excel at creating timely yet timeless stories that readers want to engage with, apply to their lives, and benefit from. Your mission will be to create extremely useful yet refined content -- from productivity hacks and career guides to management advice and personal finance articles -- that will resonate with our expanding subscriber base. The ideal candidate is an experienced journalist and inspiring leader who's as comfortable elevating prose as they are contributing to strategic direction.We'll trust you to: Build a suite of smart, actionable stories that showcase the art of good service journalism.Be a great wordsmith, writing and editing strong copy and compelling display language to sell the story.Combine a strong understanding of what makes a story suitable for Bloomberg with a distinctive, memorable voice. Have experience with problem/solution-style storytelling.Experiment with story formats and approaches lists, guides, rubrics and more that deliver memorable insights.Collaborate effectively across our global newsroom, coordinating priorities and coverage with other teams.Become the newsrooms go-to expert for all things How To, creating a network of internal and external contributors.Scour analytics to drive editorial decisions and generate new ideas.Work across mediums to create content that can perform on our many platforms.Leverage podcasts, video and events to create content, and pursue original programming for each.Use audience data to inform the topics we explain and analyze how pieces resonate with readers. You'll need to have: Bachelors degree or degree-equivalent qualifications At least five years of similar experience in a news organizationA flair for turning copy into standout textEntrepreneurialism, flexibility and creativityA strong understanding of audience analytics and the digital subscription ecosystemDemonstrated continuous career growth within an organizationA proven track record of collaboration within a newsroomIF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU:Apply if you think we're a good match.
