Our client is looking for Senior EHS Manager for their Mississippi facilities in Corinth and Booneville. This position will provide leadership, mentoring and direction to hourly, salaried and management personnel engaged in Environmental, Health, and/or Safety (EHS) activities related to a large campus. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates and drives the execution of the safety strategy for the Mississippi campus to achieve the vision.
- Provides guidance and EHS leadership to peers, direct reports and the Mississippi employees.
- Engages and develops team of hourly and management EHS professionals.
- Identifies common and more complex safety/health/environmental hazards inherent in the organization's operations and establishes guidelines for protection from those hazards.
- Ensures EHS training is completed to comply with regulatory requirements or in support of facility, division, or enterprise objectives.
- Audits safety/health/environmental programs for compliance with company standards, government regulations, and adequacy relative to local conditions.
- Monitors periodic performance reports for trends and conditions, alerts line management to problems and makes recommendations for improvement.
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

- Professional certification in a related field is desired
