**Senior Electrical Design Engineer**
At Curtiss Wright we specialize in the design, engineering and manufacturing of a wide variety of systems and components for the aerospace and defense industry. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electromagnetic theory and magnetic circuit design. The candidate should have some experience in the design and development of Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDTs) but is not a requirement.

**SALARY RANGE:**
$105,000 - 130,000/year

**YOUR CHALLENGE:**
+ Work on the design and development of magnetic linear sensors for various applications such as aerospace and commercial.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects within tight deadlines.
+ Write procedures and generate compliance matrices to customer specifications.
**WHAT YOU BRING:**
+ Degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
+ At least 5 years of experience in magnetic design engineering.
+ Strong background in electromagnetic theory, magnetic circuit design.
+ Experience in the design and development of LVDTs or magnetic sensors a plus.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
+ Familiarity with electromagnetic simulations such as ANSYS Maxwell or COMSOL and Matlab to optimize the design of LVDTs a plus.
