Our client is an MEP engineering firm that has completed projects in several environments including healthcare, telecommunications, government sectors, and facilities/mission critical data center environments. They are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer.The Senior Electrical Engineer will manage the electrical designing of projects, create designs and plans, provide and gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary electrical engineering design role. They will also handle multiple simultaneous projects in wide variety of projects with both normal and emergency power distribution systems for educational, industrial, health care, laboratory, commercial core and shell buildings and tenant interior fit-out projects.- Licensed Maryland PE required - Ability to work in a team environment - Ability to successfully work independently - Self-starter, motivated, and should prioritize well - Strong Electrical Building Systems backgroundJob Requirements- Manage electrical design of projects, create designs and plans, provide and gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary electrical engineering design role, handle multiple simultaneous projects in wide variety of projects with both normal and emergency power distribution systems for educational, industrial, health care, laboratory, commercial core and shell buildings and tenant interior fit-out projects- Create Conceptual Designs gathered from meetings with the client for Field Engineer focus- Prepare Construction Drawings, Specifications, Calculations, Cost Estimates, and perform field inspections- Work with Management to respond to RFP s- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policies- Put these in clear concise work statement for the field* Represent the company in project meetings as needed
