Company DescriptionSenior-Level Electrical Engineer - Valhalla, NYJob Responsibilities The engineering candidate shall work under the supervision of a principal engineer and will be responsible for electrical design. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. May be the primary contact with clients. The candidate shall have a thorough understanding of low voltage electrical systems and ability to execute projects with minimal oversight. Roles and Responsibilities include:
  • Travel to project sites, via car/plane/train as required to complete tasks
  • Ability to execute standard electrical calculations
  • Equipment Selections and Equipment Applications
  • A general understanding of electrical systems, electrical and building codes, etc.
  • Able to execute their own drafting thru AutoCAD/Revit
  • Conforming to company standards (AutoCAD/Revit, network)
  • Must be familiar with the preparation and evaluation of short circuit, coordination and arc flash studies.
  • Accountabilities
  • Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of work assigned.
  • Works without close supervision.
  • Exercises independent judgment in selecting and interpreting information.
Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
    • Must have minimum 10-15 years of experience in electrical engineering and design in AutoCAD/Revit
    • Must be licensed as a Professional Engineer.
    • Have a valid driver's license
