The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results-oriented individual to serve as Senior Employment Recruiter.

Position OverviewUnder general direction, this position will plan, organize, develop, and execute recruitment activities throughout various areas of the state and in border states as needed. The position will establish long-range goals and objectives and provide leadership, mentoring, and training to lower-level recruitment staff. The position will travel extensively, representing the Department at various recruitment functions, job fairs, career days, college and university workshops, and Department of Employment Security workshops to promote employment with the Department. This position will establish and maintain effective professional networks and public relations with both public and private organizations, officials, and other state agencies regarding recruitment efforts. The position will also develop, organize, and prepare marketing strategies for hiring qualified individuals. This position will utilize Spanish speaking skills in the performance of duties.
