This position involves marketing and supporting energy-efficiency programs at large industrial and commercial facilities in the Detroit, Michigan area. The role also allows up to 75% telework, offering a unique career opportunity for talented individuals with excellent outreach, sales, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Identify energy efficiency opportunities and calculate energy savings
• Directly market to large commercial, industrial, and government facility owners
• Coordinate and educate customers and provide training on energy-related issues
• Evaluate energy consuming systems and consult on behalf of the utility's energy efficiency program
• Perform field verification of energy efficiency measures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field with 12+ years of relevant experience in energy efficiency and/or energy management
• Proven ability to develop relationships with customers, vendors, and professional organizations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Valid driver's license and ability to perform field verification
