Job Summary
The Senior Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining, leading, and communicating the systems architecture and strategies to support SERVPRO's business objectives. This role works closely with executive leaders to align IT strategy to the goals, drivers, and objectives of our business. The Senior Enterprise Architect drives best practices and leads the creation and evolution of the technology roadmap, delivering architectural and information models to support and reinforce sound design and decision principles. This individual brings deep experience in enterprise architecture, cloud computing, software design, and solution development. The Senior Enterprise Architect excels at complex problem recognition, leading through influence, and communication with constituents ranging from senior business leaders to deeply technical engineers. This is a key leadership role for development and evolution of our IT strategy.
You will
- Develop and maintain the IT roadmap, ensuring alignment of business strategies and goals to IT capabilities, ensuring that the IT architecture supports and enhances business outcomes.
- Develop and maintain architectural models to codify and reinforce key design concepts for the IT architecture. Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies and solutions to realize desired business capabilities.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to teams working across multiple domains (Business, Technology, Network Infrastructure, Data, Security, and Governance) ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with the enterprise architecture.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning to encourage and develop intentional design, formal modeling, and sound decision-making competencies in high-potential and influential engineering resources. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members.
- Work effectively with stakeholders and constituents across headquarters, franchise, and IT organizations to identify needs and realize the capabilities to satisfy them.
- Drive innovation and adoption of emerging capabilities in diverse technical domains, including Systems Integration, Data Platforms, Security Practices, Artificial Intelligence, and Deep Learning.
- Lead the IT Architectural Council to establish and enforce architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Create and maintain the information model for enterprise architecture, including diagrams, standards, principles, and decisions.
- Demonstrate and maintain deep technical knowledge across the core solutions, technologies, and business domains necessary to deliver the enterprise architecture. Serve as a subject matter expert for technology related issues, including architectures, platforms methods and tools.

- Complete other duties and functions as requested by leadership.
You have
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner.
- 10 + years of relevant experience in enterprise and solution architecture. 3+ years of relevant experience as a principal design leader in a complex commercial enterprise.
- Deep and broad technical understanding of software development, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, predictive analytics, and emerging artificial intelligence domains.
- Strong business partner interface skills; proven leadership through influence; excellent interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Deep understanding and working experience in one or more formal architectural frameworks (TOGAF, DODAF, Zachman, etc.)
Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related technical field or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced degree in a computer science or computational discipline is a plus.
Working Conditions

- Additional working hours required as needed to complete assignments and projects on schedule.
- Travel as required for business needs.
