Senior Estimator - EPC Utility-Scale Solar Projects

Join a Global, PE-backed EPC as a Senior Estimator specializing in EPC utility-scale solar & BESS projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead the estimation process for large, complex solar installations, ensuring accurate cost assessments and contributing to successful project outcomes. Responsibilities include in-depth analysis of contract documents, developing and maintaining critical path schedules, conducting comprehensive quantity take-offs, and leading project pricing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and analyze detailed project plans and specifications.
• Perform quantity take-offs and develop pricing strategies.
• Identify and mitigate project risks through thorough assessments.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to clarify project details and expectations.
• Lead and mentor a team of estimators to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Prepare comprehensive tender packages and presentations.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in construction cost estimating, with significant experience in utility-scale solar projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and coordinate multiple project estimates simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to interface effectively with clients and project teams.
• Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and methodologies.
