Job Description Senior Estimator - Commercial - Rhode Island - Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage all aspects of project life cycles, including design, permitting, bidding, subcontractor management, scheduling, and quality control.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
- Manage and supervise a team of on-site personnel, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at all times.
- Provide leadership to the project team, including managing project budgets, coordinating schedules, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices, change orders, and project progress reports.
- Act as a liaison between clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, ensuring the company's values are upheld in every aspect of the project. The Successful Applicant Senior Estimator - Commercial - Rhode Island - Will have
- Minimum of 5 years in construction management, with a focus on commercial, healthcare, academic, biotech, or luxury residential projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, including scheduling, budgeting, and managing subcontractors.
- Proven leadership ability and experience managing teams of diverse professionals.
- Proficiency in project management software, MS Office Suite, Procore, or similar tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
