Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Senior Cost Manager to join our team. As a member of the Cost Estimating Division, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organization by developing cost estimates and controls for a variety of projects, utilizing local market analysis. In this role, you will provide exceptional client service and experiences, interact with prime contractors and subcontractors, and implement cost controls throughout the construction administration process.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReview and develop construction cost estimates and budgets for a range of projects including office renovations, healthcare facilities, retail restaurants, flagship stores, and core and shell constructions.Conduct comparisons of budget costs to benchmark pricing information, analyze quantities and scope items, and assist in value engineering.Provide support during general contractor and architect sourcing, participate in interviews, bid leveling processes, and recommendations and awards.Compile project unit pricing and labor rates from contractors, ensuring adherence to rates throughout the project.Enhance overall cost control service delivery by increasing efficiency and improving processes.Assist in the development and maintenance of historical cost benchmarks for various project types.Prioritize requests to exceed customer expectations.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Architecture, Finance, Cost estimating background, or Construction Management from an accredited institutionMinimum of 5 years of experience in Cost Management with a strong understanding of CSI trade costs.Experience in Construction Management, General Contracting, or Real Estate firms is preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESAbility to effectively communicate analyzed data to clients and teams to achieve project goals.Strong working knowledge of architectural and engineering drawings, furniture, and space planning concepts.Flexible with work hours and willing to travel as needed.Practical drawing and test fit review will be requested during the interview process.Highly organized with strong analytical skills.Demonstrated ability to support Business Development initiatives as assigned or requested.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers, JLL executives, architects, engineers, contractors, and team members.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Project software (e.g., RS Means, Onscreen Center, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Plan Swift).JLL Is an Equal Opportunity Employer JLL is committed to developing and maintaining a diverse workforce.
