Seeking a talented and motivated Senior Estimator - Construction - Stamford, CT with a strong background in the Property and Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a knack for numerical accuracy, detailed cost analyses, and project management.

This is a large organization in the Property and Construction industry based in Stamford. They have an extensive portfolio of projects and are recognized for their commitment to delivering quality and sustainable building solutions. They are a Full Cycle Real Estate Developer with a General Contracting arm.

Description

Senior Estimator - Construction - Stamford, CT

  • Review and evaluate cost estimates
  • Coordinate with the project management team on all project pursuits
  • Prepare cost analysis in computer by recapitulating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor and overhead costs incurred in the installation of items
  • Develop and maintain resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.
  • Work closely with architects and owners to fine-tune budgets
  • Attend project and team meetings as needed
  • Foster relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

Profile

A successful Senior Estimator - Construction - Stamford, CT:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office and estimation software
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough understanding of the Property and Construction industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong multitasking and project management skills
  • 7+ years experience with Residential or Mixed use Projects
