What You Will Be Doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping) for commercial and industrial projects.
• Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required.
• Analyze project documents, site conditions, and other factors to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials costs, and best practices in mechanical estimating.

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical estimating, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., QuickPen, Estimation, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
