We are partnered with a top 25 ENR contractoris a leading contractor, renowned for delivering excellence across a diverse range of vertical projects, including commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and office developments. With a commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainable construction practices, we specialize in delivering complex, high-value projects that shape communities and drive economic growth.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in bidding for projects exceeding $200M.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for large-scale projects, including commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and office developments.
  • Develop comprehensive bid strategies and present cost analyses to leadership, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals.
  • Analyze architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and other project documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather insights and ensure cost estimates reflect project needs and complexities.
  • Evaluate and negotiate pricing with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify cost-saving opportunities during the pre-construction phase.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and material/labor costs.
  • Mentor and support junior estimators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of estimating experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of bidding on projects valued over $200M.
  • Expertise in vertical construction projects, including commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and office sectors.
  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Bluebeam, PlanSwift) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
