We are looking for a high caliber, experienced, and motivated Senior Program Manager who has a passion for developing and executing event strategies to engage and cultivate top talent for Amazon. In this role, you'll be responsible for defining the vision and road-map for our global recruiting events program. Our organization, Global Specialty Recruiting is responsible for hiring Amazon's most senior and specialized talent in the areas of design, science, academics and engineering. This program's mission is to engage as much of this talent population as possible through custom and highly curated hosted events. This is a vital piece of our recruiting strategy and how we highlight Amazon as a global technology leader.
The ideal candidate will bring a sharp analytical mind, have strong coordination ability and can roll up their sleeves to get things done. A customer-oriented mindset and good stakeholder management skills are crucial for this role as you will be working closely with senior Amazon design, science and engineering leaders as they participate in our events. You will need to influence team members across the globe, so the ability to collaborate and influence without authority is a must. This person must be able to judiciously add, refine, and remove processes throughout the event cycle to increase the productivity and effectiveness of recruiters you work with.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Program Manager you will:
- 5+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
