We are partnering with an exciting client in the cell therapy space and they are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior/Executive Medical Director to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in oncology and cell therapy, combined with strong leadership skills and a passion for advancing medical science. This role is critical to their mission and will provide strategic direction, clinical oversight, and thought leadership in the development of our oncologic cell therapy programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee clinical development programs in oncologic cell therapy, ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory compliance.
- Provide expert medical input into the design, execution, and interpretation of clinical trials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research, regulatory, and commercial, to drive program success.
- Represent the company in interactions with key opinion leaders, regulatory agencies, and industry conferences.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and developments in oncology and cell therapy to inform strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and develop junior medical staff, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Qualifications:
- MD with board certification in oncology.
- At least 4 years experience in oncology and 2 years cell therapy, with a strong track record of success in clinical development.
- Participated or lead a product trial from design through to phase 4 approval
- Has experience working in and leading small teams
