(SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.SIE is looking for multiple Senior Field Engineers – Rail/Transit to support various MTA C&D transit construction projects. This position will be responsible for the construction management, including quality, schedule, and overall client satisfaction.Responsibilities:Construction management of multidisciplinary rail construction projectsInspecting, monitoring, and overseeing construction field work tasksReviewing contractor schedules and paymentsConducting constructability reviewCoordination with MTA and other stakeholdersQualification & Skills: Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or similarLicensed Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Certified Construction Manager (preferred)6+ years of experience in rail construction projects including stations, line structures, communications systems, and track workExperience with MTA C&D (including NYCT, LIRR, MNR), Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PANYNJExcellent communication skills and work ethicOSHA 30, PMG123 Training, and NYCT Track TrainingExpected salary range is $104,000 - $156,000 annually.
