In this role you will provide after-sales support for Marvin windows and doors, collaborating with our customers to provide outstanding experience. Deliver outstanding service support for all Marvin brands in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Be accountable for use of company time, expenditures, vehicles, phone, computers, and tools; ensure they are maintained at the highest levels. Work as a team with other departments, sharing information as needed.
Highlights of your role:
- Applying the Salesforce scheduling software to build schedules. Verify and handle parts and tools needed for service work. Review work orders before traveling to the job sites to ensure materials are available. Demonstrates excellent preparation for jobs and consistently achieves high performance in the first time complete metric.
- Has the ability to run larger commercial or sophisticated jobs with coordinating supplies, equipment, job supervisor, and daily reports. Assist and train co-workers and new technicians in setting up weekly, timely schedules. Coordinating assistance from other technicians for multi-man jobs. Mentors fellow employees with training needs.
- Authoritatively expresses feedback on recurring issues and supplies comprehensive information for quality updates to R&D and Manufacturing. Regularly visits key dealers to establish good working relationships.
- Applying Fleetio to support vehicle preventative maintenance and improve work efficiency, while searching for cost-saving opportunities within the system.
- Collaborate with Inside Service to ensure profitability on Pay for Service jobs. Ability to promote the “Pay for Service” revenue-generating service program and pursues opportunities to sell the service.
Salary Range: $32 to $38, pay based on experience You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):
- Approaches work with a continuous improvement mentality and encourages change for the benefit of the company. Prioritizes safety and consistently adheres to rules. The capability to build efficient weekly work schedules that do not have a negative impact on the company.

- Takes safety seriously with validated compliance of the rules. Always looks for opportunities to improve department functions. Recognizes ways to bring forward opportunities to grow revenue within service territory. Maintain a positive demeanor and innovative thinking to resolve service issues.
Also want to make sure you have:
- 3-5 years of construction background. Window and door product knowledge; a good background in construction and installation practices.
- Must meet the Federal Department of Transportation medical certification requirements (Physical) and driver eligibility and excellent driving record
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the position including lifting up to 75 pounds and climbing ladders and scaffolding
- Proficient with computer entry and knowledge of Microsoft programs
