The Global Supply Chain (GSC) Function is tasked with balancing supply and demand across the organization and optimizing inventory levels to meet worldwide demand for Medtronic's diverse range of businesses and products.This position reports to a Sr. Finance Director in GSC supporting Inventory Planning. You will be responsible for providing financial support to leaders in Customer Solutions and Order Operations, and Inventory Health, with a focus on field inventory (e.g., trunk stock and consignment). This role requires cross-functional partnership with various supply chain, operating unit, and finance teams to implement best practices, build capabilities and drive improvement across the supply chain cycle.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Serve as a trusted financial advisor to Customer Solutions, liaising with Demand Planning, Inventory Health, and OU leaders to provide One Best Way solutions for field inventory, through proactive engagement and collaboration. Oversee the development of financial models to support planning and scenario analysis for inventory management, including excess and obsolescence, and productivity analysis.Lead efforts to develop and enhance data dashboards for field inventory, focusing on identifying and leveraging actionable insights.Manage and mentor finance professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Perform other duties or lead projects as assigned.Must Have: Minimum RequirementsBachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field.Minimum of 7+ years of relevant and progressive work experience (5+ years with an Advanced degree) with at least 5 years of managerial experience with a global organizationNice to HaveExperience in public accounting, ideally with a Big 4 firm or equivalent, with a strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and financial analysis techniques.Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present financial data in a clear and concise manner to leadership.Proven track record of collaborating effectively in a matrix environment, including partnerships Corporate Functions, Global Operations and Supply Chain, Regions and Operating Units. Demonstrated leadership abilities, including leading teams and achieving results through others.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple and conflicting deadlines and priorities.High level of initiative and self-motivation.Team player with the capability to build and maintain effective working relationships.Proficient in problem analysis and resolution at both strategic and operational levels.Experience in financial systems such as SAP, Essbase/Hyperion, and/or OneStream.Skills in Microsoft tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. PR) locations (USD):$142,400.00 - $213,600.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
