Senior Financial Advisors are responsible for coordinating and rendering services to our clients. A Senior Financial Advisor will be directly involved in activities that enhance client relations, supervise and develop other team members, and manage all client relationships in accordance with HBKS policies and procedures. The Senior Financial Advisor will devote a significant portion of time in enhancing existing relationships and developing new relationships in support of client prospecting.QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in business or finance.
- 7+ years' experience as a personal financial advisor/planner
- Industry related professional designations such as CFP preferred
- The ideal candidate will possess the Series 7, 63, 65, or 66 as well as insurance licenses
- This individual will be highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
- Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and computer skills required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform activities associated with the client account and service in a manner consistent with the HBKS Wealth Advisor and associated broker/dealer operations and compliance manuals.
- Assume all responsibility for client relationships, including personal financial planning, asset management, and protection planning.
- Be responsible for the completeness and accuracy of information maintained in the HBKS client relationship management system.
- Act with integrity, competence, diligence, respect, and in an ethical manner with the public, clients, prospective clients, HBKS and HBKS team members.
- Place the interests of clients above your own personal interests.
- Use reasonable care and exercise independent professional judgement when making recommendations.
- Practice in a professional and ethical manner that will reflect credit on yourself and HBKS.
- Handle all client relationships, regardless of complexity, in an efficient, timely, and professional manner.
- Have extensive contact with clients, striving to understand and meet their needs as efficiently as possible.
- Display a high degree of technical and professional competence, including keeping current on new developments.
- Possess highly respected professional designations.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze financial planning data and draw reasonable conclusions.
- Display the ability to make sound business decisions.
- Assists in the recruitment of qualified staff.
- Maintain good communication with Principals, Financial Advisors, Advisor Associates, and clients to ensure work is performed accurately and efficiently, and to ensure client expectations are met.
- Supervise Financial Advisors and Advisor Associates; this includes making sure work is delegated effectively and training procedures are being followed.
- Willingness to invest significant time and energy toward client service, leadership, and firm growth.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all clients and the firm business.
- Enhance existing client relationships and actively seek to develop new relationships with potential clients and referral sources.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the firm by supporting the firm's business plan and exercising excellent business acumen.
- Follow firm procedures and comply with firm policies as outlined in the HBKS Wealth Advisors Human Resource Manual.
- Maintain the firm name in the public through speaking engagements, community involvement, and participation in business, civic, and professional activities.
- Willingness to mentor Associate and Financial Advisors.
