They are currently looking for Licensed Financial Consultants to join their branches in the Santa Barbara area.

In this position, youll have the opportunity to build a rewarding career while forming meaningful relationships with clients as you guide them through the retirement planning process with tailored solutions and strategies. Rather than spending your days on cold calls, youll focus on nurturing established client relationships and managing complex financial plans. There is not COLD CALLING OR BOOK TRANSFERING REQUIRED. Please note that this role may offer some hybrid options depending on the branch location. However, all candidates must reside in the Santa Monica or Santa Barbara areas to be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead client meetings, present financial plans and investment performance, and coordinate follow-up actions with your team.
  • Manage client cases, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Conduct meetings with prospective clients generated by business development, gather relevant data, deepen relationships, and promote the firm's offerings to secure new business.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial plans, reports, and client presentations.
  • Implement financial plans and investment strategies effectively.
  • Respond promptly to client communications and requests.
  • Understand the emotional aspects of finances and provide appropriate counsel to clients.

Skills You Need:

  • As an experienced financial professional, you have a deep understanding of financial markets and excel at simplifying complex concepts for clients.
  • Extensive knowledge of investment products enables you to guide clients through various options with clarity and confidence.
  • Collaborative mindset, capable of working with teammates to develop customized investment strategies while engaging in positive, client-focused discussions.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with multiple business partners.
  • A strong sense of integrity and dedication to delivering exceptional customer experiences, helping clients navigate the complexities of finance and achieve their long-term goals.

Required Licensing and Experience

  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 or (series 65/63)
  • Experience with High-Net-Worth clients and managing a book of business (book of business does not need to be transferable).
  • A CFP is preferred if you dont already have your CFP, the clients Tuition Reimbursement program can help you with classes to obtain.

Certifications:

Series 07 FINRA, Series 63 FINRA, Series 65 FINRA, Series 66 FINRA
