Responsibilities
- Assist the Finance Technology Organization in Continuous Improvement Demand and Prioritization and Governance process.
- Support system enhancements and project implementations with gap analysis, system tasks and mappings, end user training, documentation, and coordination between various teams as well as financial close support. Partner with various functions including Finance, IT, Corporate Business Technology, Master Data, Corporate and Supply Chain to ensure adherence to global system standardization and best practices as well as overall business strategy.
- Identify and analyze data quality issues in financial systems and help drive the resolution of the inconsistencies.
- Innovatively shape new system solutions to address business needs and translate design into user stories. Promote usage of all implemented tools and proactively identify system solutions to standardize and streamline business processes (ad-hoc reports, automation, etc.). Communicate financial business process and system solutions to peers across regions and platforms.
- Develop, update, and validate financial mappings (G/L Account, Cost center etc.) between the Source ECC system and SAP Central Finance system. Resolve any issues/errors between Source ECC system and Central Finance system such as daily replication, and configuration and master data mapping inconsistencies etc. Identify integration points and ensure all other applications, processes, and functional areas impacted are aware of the Central Finance project and impacts to their initiative or timelines.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, MIS, or Data Science.
- Minimum of 3 years of finance, accounting, IT, or related business experience.
- Knowledge and experience working with SAP is required.
- Strong accounting/finance background and have a technical mindset, with experience in financial systems.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and team building skills.
- Attention to details, ability to prioritize & plan multiple tasks effectively, initiative to follow through on directives, self-motivated, adaptable to change, intellectual curiosity and keen to grow.
- Ability to train and teach others.
- Knowledge and sensitivity to global partners/cultures/norms is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products and tools.
- Continuous learning mindset and passion for finance technology, data analysis, complex data mapping, and data reconciliation.
- Ability to improve business processes while working creatively and innovatively in a dynamic, team environment.

Preferred
- MBA, CPA, or CMA
- Hands-on experience in technical / finance roles in SAP ECC focusing on SAP FI/CO modules. (G/L, A/P, A/R, Fixed Assets, Controlling).
- Prior experience working in a Supply Chain Finance organization and an understanding of manufacturing and sales processes from a system perspective.
- Prior experience in Data Analytics, Data Modeling and custom Data Warehouse development, Statistical Analysis using cutting-edge financial tools and technologies.
- Working knowledge of reporting and planning tools and applications such as SAP BI/BW, S/4 HANA, Central Finance, and Blackline.
- Experience with system enhancement process, project implementation, IT Service Management and testing protocols and tools such as QTest, Jira, Service Now etc.
- SAP Knowledge and Experience:
- Cost accounting modules (Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis).
- Integration of FI/CO with MM and SD modules.
- SAP tables, sets, standard configuration, transactions, validation, and substitution rules, ALE & IDocs and interfaces with non-SAP systems.
- Customization and enhancements in ECC.
This position is located in New Brunswick, NJ and may require up to 10% domestic and international travel. This role follows JNJ Flex (3 days working in the office, 2 days working from home).
The base pay range for this position is $76,000 - $121,900. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
