Position Information

Full-time salaried position; rate dependent upon education and experience.

Schedule

Monday Friday, regular business hours. In this position, you may be required to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Chief Financial Officer

Overview:

The senior financial analyst is responsible for providing broad financial support to Executive and Management teams within the organization. They will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating financial models, and making recommendations to management. This will include creating and analyzing financial statements, creating budgets and forecasting financial performance, and identifying areas for cost savings. They work closely with other departments, including but not limited to sales, project management, and operations. The senior financial analyst will also be responsible for communicating financial information to management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct financial analysis to monitor financial performance, support business decisions, and provide recommendations for optimization.

Reporting of weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)

Maintain and/or improve financial models for forecasting and budgeting

Prepare and present financial reports to management, such as the monthly financial package and Quarterly Business Reviews.

Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insight and support.

Identify and analyze business trends and make recommendations for improvement.

Support ad hoc and recurring strategic projects and initiatives of the business.

Create and continuously improve companywide financial processes (e.g. forecasting and budgeting).

Work with management to develop process and procedure for ERP use and optimization.

Support project heath and profitability analysis including communication to operations.

Qualifications & Attributes:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field

5+ years of experience in financial analysis or related field

Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail

Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles

Foundation of curiosity in approaching the business, assigned projects, and process development

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Prior experience managing budgeting and forecasting processes

Prior experience developing financial models and analyzing large data sets

Proficient in Excel and other financial software tools such as B.I. platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

Ability to work independently and self-manage multiple projects
