Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Financial Analyst role is to support the Financial Reporting Team in providing standard monthly and ad-hoc reporting to various functions within the Firm with an emphasis on analyzing and creating complex financial data.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with the Firm's CFO and various other Firm Management to analyze the Firm's key performance indicators.
  • Prepare and distribute daily, monthly, and quarterly reports to be used and provided to Firm Management. Ensure accuracy and completeness of reports.
  • Assist in testing of system for upgrades, conversion of data, and implementation of new system upgrades and interface with other systems.
  • Provide expense analyses and reports as requested. The data must be prepared accurately and timely based on department guidelines and the specific requirements of the request.
  • Provide variance reporting compared to budget and prior year(s) financial data.
  • Provide analyses of Income Statement and Balance Sheet accounts at a categorized level to Firm Management.
  • Assist with developing profitability and cash flow forecasts.
  • Compile financial data for industry surveys.
  • Serve as a backup on primary responsibilities of other colleagues.
  • Prepare special projects as assigned.
  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Must be listed on resume to be considered):

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Minimum of 5 + years of Financial Analysis and/or Accountant experience required.
  • Must live within a commutable distance to the local office required.
  • ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Large law firm experience preferred.
  • CPA preferred.

  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft applications, including high level of proficiency in MS Excel required.
