Purpose/belief statement:Financial Analysis support is an important function within the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst manages internal and external reporting and analysis for Managed Services Organization.
Job duties & responsibilities- Ability to develop and create reports based on functional area needs
- Complete industry research and develop key performance metrics to track monthly.
- Responsible for ensuring timely monthly reporting package completion and distribution.
- Create and review reports, analyze variances, and distribute to management.
- Performs ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed, ability to create new visuals based on requestor inputs
- Create a relationship with Corporate partners and produces reporting package utilized by both organizations
- Assist Operations by collecting, organizing, and sharing relevant data
- Assist Accounting function with data necessary for monthly close and partner settlement agreements
- Assist leadership with collecting support and tracking during various audits
- Start-up type environment, ability to prioritize and shift focus when competing priorities emerge - ability to adapt and work on multiple projects at the same time
- Other finance projects and functions as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience requirements- A bachelor degree and 6-10 yrs of related experience, preferably in an accountable care organization or healthcare insurance environment.
Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to create clear and concise reporting - operational knowledge of data to ensure validity Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant Must be able to deal tactfully with team members and managers Excellent Excel skills are required Database experience a plus - architect or user. Superior organizational skills, strong task management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Also important are excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers, and the ability to work in a team oriented environment. A positive attitude, with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity, as well as confidentiality, are traits needed to be successful in this role.
