LHH is working with a company in the Plano area that is adding a Financial Analyst to their team. This company is a leading provider of benefits administration and management services, and they offer a range of solutions across the country. The individual in this role will be responsible for handling vendor remittances, general ledger reconciliations, credit card/ACH chargeback reporting, and conducting financial reviews. The ideal candidate will have a very strong grasp of Microsoft Excel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Generate vendor remittances on a monthly, bi-monthly, or weekly basis (approximately 100 vendors).
- Reconcile general ledger cash clearing for ACH and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
- Prepare monthly credit card chargeback reports for each merchant account.
- Monitor and track weekly chargebacks for all merchant accounts.
- Compile and present monthly financial review reports for ownership.
- Assist with the implementation of budget and variance analysis.
- Prepare annual carrier audit reports on the flow of funds.
- Manage PCI compliance processes.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of vendor payables to billing within the CRM system.
- Provide backup for weekly agent commission processing.
- Support the Director of Finance or CFO with other financial duties and analyses as requested.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 7-10 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel skills such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and a collaborative team mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.
