* Hiring Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

* The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.

Summary

* Support of monthly financial statement reporting process, annual report process, regulatory reporting, holding company accounting and shareholder accounting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Responsible for daily, monthly preparation of financial statements.

* Responsible for preparation of audit schedules to support annual external audit process.

* Responsible for preparation of schedules for annual report process.

* Responsible for preparation of regulatory reporting schedules, forms.

* Research accounting rules and regulations as required to facilitate reporting.

* Specialized accounting transactions including parent/subsidiary eliminations.

* Responsible for the preparation and distribution of monthly loan reports for the company.

* Collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with GAAP and regulatory guidelines.

* Responsible for review of loan accounting entries to support compliance with GAAP and board reporting.

* Works closely with accounting operations personnel to ensure accuracy of financial reporting systems/data.

* Creates reports to facilitate various management reporting needs.

* Assists manager with General Ledger Integration to facilitate reporting needs.

* Assists with regulatory exam requests as required.

* Supports shareholder accounting and reporting.

* Preparation of schedules for annual tax return.

* Various projects as assigned.

* Delivers the quality of service as defined by department standards.

* Maintains consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, banking regulations, and bank policies and procedures related to the position.

* Support the company's Mission, Vision, and Values.

* Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

* 3 - 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

* Preferred bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Preferred experience in banking.

Supervisory Responsibilities

* This position may manage financial reporting staff.
