This Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Leading analytical support for long-term strategic programs and serving as the point person for assigned projects.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to understand requests and to define the scope of work and deliverables.
  • Conducting complex analyses and coordinating, reviewing, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned accounts and funds.
  • Reviewing and preparing detailed analyses of various general ledger accounts and selected cost centers.
  • Mentoring the team in the preparation and presentation of executive level analyses/reports related to hospital activities.
  • Reviewing and submitting periodic reports and documents for regulatory agencies and other external organizations.
  • Guiding department managers on utilizing recommendations and supporting information for robust action plans.
  • Reviewing and preparing various financial and statistical reports for monthly closes, quarterly reviews, and year-end audit reporting.
  • Maintaining collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues.
  • Minimum Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of previous experience in financial reporting and analysis in a hospital setting.
  • Expert knowledge of analytics and operational effectiveness.
  • The ability to implement process improvements and enhanced analytics techniques.
  • Interest in building the technical, data, and business analytics skill set of team members.
