WHAT YOU'LL DO We are looking for a Senior Financial Reporting and Consolidations Analyst to join our Corporate Accounting Team. This professional will have the opportunity to engage in a versatile role consisting of managing month-end close, annual audit of the company, and other financial reporting requests. Other crucial roles include preparing intercompany reconciliations and assisting with variance explanations for management reporting. The position requires strong technical accounting skills and making critical decisions on accounting treatment and processes to comply with appropriate accounting standards and ensuring that the books and records of the company are maintained in compliance with US GAAP. This position works closely with our internal and external auditors and senior executives to resolve complex accounting issues. This position will report to the Director of Financial Reporting and Consolidations. Responsibilities

  • Monitor monthly closing process and checklist for international entities, prepare complex entries and adjustments for the corporate accounting function. Areas of focus include but are not limited to intercompany, USGAAP adjustments, investment accounting which requires constant communications with Accounting, M&A, Treasury and Operations.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations, closing JEs in supporting Director of Financial Reporting.
  • Prepare roll-forward schedules, variance analysis for the monthly financial reporting package; participate in monthly financial review meetings with management.
  • Prepare compliance filings to maintain covenants required under the credit agreement.
  • Review international annual audited filings; review all footnotes and schedules, draft relevant disclosures and coordinate comments on drafts of the audited financial statement from multiple parties.
  • Coordinate with independent auditors to facilitate reviews and the annual audit.
  • Maintain current understanding of GAAP guidelines, research technical accounting issues.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and work on projects as needed.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of related work experience. Experience at a large accounting or consulting firm providing accounting/auditing. NetSuite ERP experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships throughout the organization to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication skills to distill information into a digestible presentation for senior management with recommended corrective actions.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects with tight or overlapping deadlines.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience in creating ad hoc reporting and board materials as required.
  • Able to motivate others, promote cross training and create succession planning for the key accounting areas.
