Location: Archbold,OH, USA
Reporting to the Plant Quality Manager at our Archbold, Ohio manufacturing facility, local producers of Libby's Vienna sausages, Wendy's chili, Healthy Choice soups, Hunts Tomato sauces, and LaChoy products to name a few, you will implement programs within the functional area of the FSQRA group. You will help us design and implement all relevant Quality and Food Safety procedures.
**How Will You Make an Impact?**
+ Gather and study data to understand trends and issues to provide input to decisions related to product safety and quality in areas of assigned responsibility.
+ Manage others in the organization within assigned technical responsibilities.
+ Provide technical support and data analysis in managing situations and issues relative to quality and food safety.
+ Collaborate and provide technical support to appropriate functions and employees to assure, food safety and quality of company products.
+ Gauge and evaluate effectiveness and assure continuous improvement in assigned responsibilities.
+ Participate on teams to assure implementation and adherence of QA programs and process improvement of our suppliers.
+ Knowledge of GFSI Benchmarked Schemes (namely SQF and BRC), Better Process School, GMPs, Sanitation, Pest Control, Food Safety and HACCP systems, Training, Allergens, and applicable programs/regulations.
+ Provide technical support to appropriate functions and employees to assure regulatory compliance, food safety and quality of company products.
+ Evaluate effectiveness and assure continuous improvement in assigned responsibilities.
+ Collaborate outside of FPRA organization to improve the effectiveness with regards to food safety and quality.
**Do You Have What it Takes?**
+ BS in Food, Biological or Chemical Science or related field required.
+ 5 years industry experience
+ 3+ years experience leading teams
+ Knowledge of food safety, food manufacturing processes, technologies or other relevant responsibilities.
+ Experience with HACCP, SQF auditing, PCQI and Thermal Processing.
+ Knowledge of government regulatory requirements in food packaging (GFSI, FSMA, FDA, and USDA)
