Job Description:
Parker Tide is a small business in DC. We serve as a value-added partner to the government. We are seeking an HR Classifier (On Call) to work with one of our DC clients. Title: HR Classifier (On Call).Period of Performance: One year and four option years.Salary: Depends on Experience.Investigation Requirement: Public Trust.Place of Performance: There will be an onsite orientation and familiarization period. After, at the agency's discretion, work assignments may be completed off-site.Tasks / Description
  • Provide position classification and management support, ensuring that positions are accurately defined, evaluated, and classified to support effective workforce management and compensation.
  • Conduct job analysis to define duties, responsibilities, and qualifications. Develop clear and accurate position descriptions.
  • Ensure position descriptions align with organizational structure and goals. Analyze organizational structures to identify inefficiencies or redundancies. Recommend changes to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Apply classification standards and criteria to determine appropriate grade levels. Conduct classification audits to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with federal classification laws and regulations. Stay informed about classification trends and best practices.
  • Support organizational restructuring and reorganization efforts.
