- Provide position classification and management support, ensuring that positions are accurately defined, evaluated, and classified to support effective workforce management and compensation.
- Conduct job analysis to define duties, responsibilities, and qualifications. Develop clear and accurate position descriptions.
- Ensure position descriptions align with organizational structure and goals. Analyze organizational structures to identify inefficiencies or redundancies. Recommend changes to improve organizational effectiveness.
- Apply classification standards and criteria to determine appropriate grade levels. Conduct classification audits to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with federal classification laws and regulations. Stay informed about classification trends and best practices.
- Support organizational restructuring and reorganization efforts.
