Senior Fully Qualified Navy Validator or Fully Qualified Navy Validator III Position Summary Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a Senior Fully Qualified Navy Validator to play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of Navy information systems by conducting Risk Management Framework (RMF) validations. Contingent upon award, this individual will ensure systems meet Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Navy (DON) cybersecurity standards and requirements, serving as a trusted advisor to government stakeholders. RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Serve as a Fully Qualified Navy Validator, conducting in-depth reviews of Navy information systems to ensure compliance with RMF requirements.
- Perform system validations to evaluate the adequacy of implemented security controls and document findings.
- Collaborate with Information System Security Engineers (ISSEs) and Information System Security Managers (ISSMs) to address identified security risks and recommend mitigations.
- Provide subject matter expertise in Navy-specific cybersecurity requirements and policies, ensuring alignment with DoD and DON regulations.
- Review and analyze system security documentation, including Security Authorization Packages, System Security Plans (SSPs), and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
- Utilize Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to maintain accurate records of system compliance and validation activities.
- Support system owners and program managers in achieving Authorization to Operate (ATO) status.
- Provide guidance to junior validators and other team members to enhance the program's overall cybersecurity posture.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information assurance, or a related discipline.
- Meets Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II certification requirements (e.g., CAP, CISSP, CISM, etc.).
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including extensive experience in Navy RMF processes and validations as a Fully Qualified Navy Validator.
- Strong understanding of DoD and DON cybersecurity policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Proficient in using eMASS and other Navy/DoD cybersecurity tools.
- Familiarity with conducting security control assessments and vulnerability management.
- Experience supporting Navy or DoD cybersecurity programs strongly desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
