As a Senior Highway Project Manager, you will lead our expanding roadway design team across West Virginia. You'll have the opportunity to choose whether you'd like to report to our Scott Depot or Morgantown office, offering flexibility and convenience. Responsibilities:
- You will lead our expanding highway design team located across West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky
- Build effective client relationships by working collaboratively with the client & multi-discipline teams
- Prepare and complete engineering designs that are responsive to project needs
- Complete tasks within the assigned schedule and budget
- Develop project design criteria, calculations, details, and estimates
- Mentor staff in the advancement of highway design
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10-15 years of experience in roadway design.
- Experience and familiarity with the West Virginia Division of Highways Design Directives is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design using MicroStation and ORD.
- Proven experience managing staff and coordinating with clients.
- Professional Registration preferred, with registration in West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky desired.

- Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
- Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
- Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
- Able to traverse a construction job site consisting of uneven ground varying in height and consistency of material, with a variation of elevation 19 or less (mud, gravel, rutted ground, etc.)
- Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working
