Full time Senior HR Generalist - 1274 A growing telecommunications company is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance. The Senior HR Generalist will work closely with leadership and employees to foster a positive work environment and drive HR initiatives that align with the company's core values and business objectives. Responsibilities Include:
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring talent, and implement effective onboarding programs.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management, resolving conflicts and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Compliance & Policy Development: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Maintain and update HR policies and procedures.
- Training & Development: Identify and implement training programs to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- HR Data & Reporting: Maintain HRIS systems, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights.
- Employee Engagement: Plan and execute engagement initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
- Payroll Administration: Manage bi-weekly payroll processing, collaborate with Finance for payroll reconciliation, and handle audits and tax filings.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs, process benefits changes, and coordinate with external vendors.
- Compensation & Benefits: Conduct market analyses and manage competitive benefits offerings.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance review processes and develop strategies for employee growth and retention.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and the employee experience.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
- 5+ years of HR experience, with a focus on payroll administration and compliance.
- Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred).
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
